How to insert current_timestamp into Postgres via Python?

PostgreSQL supports two types of data to process timestamps: time stamp and timestamptz. Timestamp data type allows us to create a timestamp that is not based on the timezone. Likewise, timestamptz can help us create a timestamp with the timezone. It is possible to store dates and times using the datatype timestamp. It does not, however, include time zone information. This means that if you change the timezone of your database server, the values for timestamps stored in the database won't immediately update, and in these circumstances, the datatype timestamptz is used.
